Re: Adobe CS5.

Well I only have CS3 but this for me bites the biscuit.

And the 64 bit native compatibility.

Re: Adobe CS5.

In CS5, there is a roto brush that you just draw on the foreground and then the background and you can replace the background.
It's basically chroma keying without a blue/green/red screen.
It's dead cool.
Yes, I can now use it for animation.
The whole of CS5, that is.
Why am I starting a new line for each sentence?
Ah well.

Re: Adobe CS5.

So, even with CS4 you want:
InDesign CS4
Photoshop CS4 Extended
Illustrator CS4
Acrobat 9 Pro
Flash CS4 Professional
Dreamweaver CS4
Fireworks CS4
Contribute CS4
After Effects CS4
Adobe Premiere Pro CS4
Soundbooth CS4
Adobe OnLocation CS4
Encore CS4
Adobe Bridge CS4
Adobe Device Central CS4
Dynamic Link
Version Cue CS4

The ones highlighted are the ones that can be used for film making.

O.K. maybe you want web as well

Re: Adobe CS5.

I find it useless for spoiled kids like you guys that only want to do relative easy stuff. CS4 is good enough for me, and with (now) Optical Flares, it can't get better mini/smile

Re: Adobe CS5.

Well, I am not exactly spoilt, I have to pay for it, and on £11 a month that's quite hard.

See: I have my own PC, but the one with CS3 master collection is downstairs on a family computer which is always being used, and editing a film for 1-3 hours, I can't go interrupted.

Re: Adobe CS5.

I earn £2 a week.
Does that make me spoilt?
No.
Case closed.

The license restrictions are different. You can't sell anything you make using a student version. The software is identical. And I'm not sure where Greenscreener's getting his info from... as far as I know, you can't install either version on multiple computers.

When me and my brother bought the student edition he said that he had heard that you could only install it on two computers. He could have been wrong though. BTW where did you hear that you can't sell anything made with the student edition?

EDIT:

Adobe wrote:

Can I use my Adobe Student and Teacher Edition software for commercial use?

Yes. You may purchase a Student and Teacher Edition for personal as well as commercial use.

Read this: http://www.adobe.com/education/students … n/faq.html It also says that you can only use it on two computers.
