Hey guys, this is my first post as i joined just now. I was wondering, what (FREE) special effects software is there. I am too lazy to edit every single frame on GIMP, plus that axogon composer is not working on vista, so what else is there to use?

I'm pretty sure there is a filter for GIMP 2.0 that allows for the full editing of an animation. I think I downloaded it a while back, but I can't remember its exact name. You can do plenty of other effect with GIMP if you have more filters one of which may allow you to work on an entire sequence.
Also for quick post editing there is Virtual Dub, but I'm not really sure that counts.
