Topic: masking problem

I have a problem with masking. first i take the picture with nothing, then when i put the minifig with the support in the picture, it makes the lighting a lot different than the background picture, but i want the lighting the same in both pictures. can anyone help me with this problem?

Re: masking problem

When you edit the pictures, you have to erase/delete these shaddows/differernts too.

But may be it is easyer for us when you could upload 2 example pictures !?

Re: masking problem

how do you get the images up?

ok

Re: masking problem

I see...the problem is the way you do it.
Dont clay it on a xtra-wall. put some 1x1 bricks under the legs. Thats all.
Keep the bricks as small as possible.

All time UNDER the minifig, not BEHIND.
If you do it BEHIND, you have to much to work in postproduction.

Re: masking problem

If you want to have the original shadow of the fig remaining do it on the side.

Re: masking problem

Also, I noticed that you made the wall that was holding the person up a bunch of different colors, like yellow, white, and others, and when the camera can't see these colors anymore (a.k.a. when you take them off to make the empty frame) it will slightly adjust to make up for it.
