We noticed several things when searching under the user list:
(1) Some people that joined only about a month ago are already classified as "Members," while people that joined three months ago are still classified as "New Members!" Why is this?
(2) In the "Show users from group" section, there was a "Members'" choice. When we went there though, it said there were only 50 of them!!! What is happening???
Your status changes on how many times you post, maybe the person who joined one month ago is more active on this site than the person who joined three months ago.
For #2 I think it's because there are only about 50 active members.
EDIT: Wait no, some members' last posts were a couple months ago. I can't think of a reason for #2.

We are VERY active members, and we were not on the list, so this is probably not the case. 
The day I have my own special title is the day world peace will occur because of it.

I think you go from New Member to Member when you have made 10 posts. Somewhere around there.
As for the Members thing, there is the regular "Members" group and then there's one called "Members" but with a little dot next to it. The group with the dot is almost the same except that these people have access to "The War Room," a hidden forum made out of necessity which is for discussing controversial topics like religion and politics. People can request access to this forum and then I change their usergroup over.
Sadly, if you look at the complete members list, you see:

It would be cool if someone made a list of all the active members of the site. 
It would also be cool if someone would delete all the users who have been on for months but have never made a single post, of course that would be hard since there are 1000+ of those.
It doesn't really do any harm to have them there. That, and they make the site look bigger
