Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Use a starwars fighter windshield..they go over the pilot(driver).

Also I made this in LDD for a stopmotion.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I'm embarrassed to say this, but I don't have one of those Star Wars windshields, except for an orange one from Mars Mission. And did I just get a notification in the mail? mini/eek That feature might be fixed!!! mini/delirium

I find it a bit much, try to keep the appearance of a car, such as in shape. Look at nick durrons car from Picturesque.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Okay, here are some snap shots of my new set. I don't have it fully detailed yet, but this is the general layout. Most of the film takes place inside, but I am planning on getting just a few shots of the outside as well...

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Nice set, but are you able to remove your wall to have room for your camera?

EDIT: ah you do, ok man, cool set, I'm jealous mini/wink

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

They must be pretty poor to own a house with no clutter.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

It's a decent set, good and plenty of space for the camera.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

The only con I can see is the lack of props in the interior. It's a nice set though

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I hope it's cool to post? Sypax's post was pretty recent.
(Cool set btw, lots of room, I disagree about the lack of props, I think you need the space to shoot)
This is my first attempt at building a proper set. I will have a background, and place the hill on something green when I film.
The coffin is custom made from one of those old Egyptian sarcophagus pieces.

That set was nice. I just don't see the point of having those grey pieces surrounding it mini/smile

For my set, I believe I have said - "I don't have it fully detailed yet, but this is the general layout" But thank you for the feedback everyone.

And that's a really cool set you got there Square, I like it a lot. mini/smile Hopefully can make it look complete when filming...it is small, but it seems to be highly detailed. 4.5/5

You do get grave's like that, with a sort of stone barrier up to stop you walking across. So that was my thinking with that one.
Also it's for a king to be buried, so I needed something a bit more elabourate than your standard hole in the ground gavesite, and they would likely have preventative measures of some kind to stop people walking over a royal grave anyway.
(Really they'd have a tomb but for the scene I have planned I needed it to be a grave, it's supposed to be tomb-ish at any rate.)

It is small, but there won't be a lot of action taking place.

Dog, don't worry bout waiting for me to get a certain number of replies, just go ahead and post.

Cheers for the feedback folks. mini/smile
