I made a short lightsaber test in GIMP.
It went out quiet good but not perfectly.
The hardest part was to find the saber it self.

Wow that's pretty good. I'm not very good at making lightsabers yet, but I'm working on a few tests and a possible full lightsaber duel.
It's awesome, but lightsabers aren't THAT dark

Well, you really have your own style in lightsabers, just like me. And I like that 
The handle is backwards.
I think that the actual white part of the blade looks very small, and the white part dosen't fade into the blue part, but other than that it seems good.
