Topic: Ultra-Drill Walker Animation

Is there any real way to animate this thing?

I tried today and the animation was choppy when trying to make it walk. The legs can only move left and right and the knees don't bend. The ankle joints are almost worthless. Do I need to modify the set in order to have smooth animation? mini/twitch

Yes. I will like to buy this however, and modify it for a Strider. But if the joints are like you said, then you'll have trouble animating.

Re: Ultra-Drill Walker Animation

Re: Ultra-Drill Walker Animation

Take out its current joints and install ball in socket joints.

Will those things be able to hold up the set?

Re: Ultra-Drill Walker Animation

Okay, I'll see if I can scrap up four sets of ball-in-socket joints. I'm gonna be digging for hours!

What, pray tell, is a 'nee'?

Dude, you don't have any Bionicle pieces?

Re: Ultra-Drill Walker Animation

Yea, if you have bionicle sets (preferable from 2001-2005) use those parts. I would not, however, recomend using the joints made in the last 3-4 years, they break very easily.

Fixed. mini/smile
(I just couldn't stand how horrible that grammar looked.)
