Firstly, that is correct grammar.
Secondly, you (used to) say in your signature "I AM A GRAMMAR POLICE" 'Police' is plural. So that's like saying "I AM A CARS". It should have said "I AM A GRAMMAR COP"

Re: What is your monitor screen resolution?

Also Aaron, I was stating what I was; a grammar police. If you say the word 'police', the it could be a singular or plural, depending on how it was used. I was describing what I was, so I think you'll find that it was correct grammar, but I had to say 'a' instead of 'the' because two other people are/were involved with it.

Don't think that what I say sounds jerk-ish, but you also did have that coming, seeing as you started the "argument". (By the way, there wasn't an argument when you made that post. It takes two to argue.)

Again, I'm not trying to sound like an ash. Sorry.

Re: What is your monitor screen resolution?

Police is plural, singular would be policeman or cop. I actually thought your signature was a bad joke.

Anway I think this conversation has gone far enough.
