Panasonic PV-GS320. Its progressive, not interlaced.
For stop-mo purposes, I don't think progressive vs. interlaced really matters, since you're not recording anything on video.
For standard-def capturing, it's hard to say which is better, they're both at or around the same quality. The GS320 is a 3CCD camera while the HV20 is an HD CMOS camera. The HV20 can capture in true widescreen, and I'm not entirely sure if if the GS320 does that.
You could potentially capture in HD with the HV20, but you'd need an HDMI cable, an HDMI capture card on your computer, and a stop-motion program that can handle HD capture.
Depends if the camera can be able to link up with Istopmotion.
It also depends on what version of Istopmotion you have. (Home,Express, or Pro) Pro is the only version that can handle HD.
idk ur camera that u currently use is very good, id say out of those other 2 choose GS320 fancypants uses that and his quality is very nice!

This is wrong, though I use an HV20 with iStopmotion through a firewire and it looks very nice. I would recommend it, though I don't know enough about the other camera to make an educated decision.

Are you sure? My canon HV30 can capture HD images through firewire, and Canon says that the HV20 is capable of taking HD photos.
