Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I'm making something.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Thanks for the kind words greensceener.  I will try to add more interest to my shots.  I was going for an earthquake, which I just experienced here in northern illinois about a week ago, though I was going for a big earthquake and rubble trapping the poor guy.  I like how the winning shot led the eye to the coveted freedom out side the prison.  I should have played with the composition of my guy and put him in the lower left corner better to convey he is wanting freedom instead of just focusing on the subject himself

Real brick- thanks for noticing the pockets.  Random luck the guy I was using had the cargo pants and I laughed when I was positioning him and hoped someone would catch that.

Im cookin up somethng for the mystery round.  Something simple and interesting.

I was just going to post another shot of random clutter cause it would be a mystery as to what the subject was. j/k

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I might make one. I just need a good idea that beats my last absolutely rubbish effort.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

RealBrick, as always you make entries that as excellent in all aspects. What do you think of mine? mini/yes

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I like the numbering for one. it really brings out the mystery, not too much cinematography though.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Thanks, the numbers are those evidense markers they use at real murder scenes. My other entries will have more cinimatography. mini/shifty

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I'm working on one, and it's pretty good IMO
EDIT:
This is my entry, done in Carrara and Gimp, models in LeoCad, and rendered 6 times (and 5 times watching at it and thinking: meh)

But btw, your entry is fantastic.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Yes that's CGI, but I made it a bit grainy like an old mafia film.

EDIT: Ark, is it me or looks that a bit like mine (only the suitcase is a gun and it has an other angle).
The lamppost idea is basicly the same. mini/confused

I'm getting tired of all those weird looking frames.
And the excuse ''It's Art''' is not valid anymore.

C'mon Darkman, I know you can do better. You should make it normal colours and maybe somthing like a set behind the guys.
I still like the Idea, it's just the way it is worked out.

I didn't copy you, it may be coinsidense. But I did not see before I posted it, sorry if I accidently copied you.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

It's ok, it looks quite different tough. Maybe I was a bit too fast in looking at it mini/wink
