I do not really know what maya 8.5 has to do with brickfilming, it is just shapes and keyframes.
Also, does anyone know some CGI program for mac???

Umm... Maya 8.5 IS a CGI program compatible with Macs. Either you downloaded something else, or you just haven't figured out how to use it yet. I'm thinking it's the latter.
Make a film. Make a good film before you even start with doing CGI.
