Topic: Good Software
What is good software that I can get for a new Mac i just purchased? I prefer something that comes with all the sounds and features, so you don't have to download other programs that go with it

iStopmotion's supposed to be good
How about iMovie?
iMovie's passable, but very basic. Final Cut Express can actually be had for a decent price if you're eligible for a student discount. It doesn't come with sounds, but as far as features go, it's got just about everything you could ask for.
Isn't iMovie made for making regular movie's so it will be hard to use for making stop motion movies.
You could download a frame capture software. I use framebyframe, it's free for mac. I edit with iMovie.
What webcam do you use?
iMovie and Quicktime
Webcams are not found with brickfilming requirements on mac, you should get a Sony DV camcorder.
imovie is basic, it is more simple to use than windows movie maker, final cut express is more complicated but very useful
Frame by frame does not have manual options, get istopmotion 2 express
I say all this because I have a mac
