Good for the most part, but it was clear you hadn't planned out anything before because you kept changing our mind about what you were doing. "I'm going to do a walk cycle between four and six frames... I'll do the six frame - no - the four frame. Actually, I'll do the five frame..." plus the sudden realisation that you should explain your lighting (which ended up a bit dark - I couldn't actually see the minifig's positions very well). That's why they made second takes. ![]()
Saw the video! nice walking!
i need to do that!

I invented a new kind of take: 30-takes. Literally.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I didn't want to have it all staged, too many "lessons" like this sound too robotish. I wanted to give a human feel to it. I am thinking about scripting the second lesson, however. And I actually planned the lighting part.
Yeah, I didn't pay much mind to the light beyond the point of getting it set up. Was trying to focus more on the walk, I suppose that really isn't setting a good example for young brickfilmers, however. x)

Thanks a lot, great video.
I'm just getting started in making stop-motion video's so i guess i'll start practice on making a figure walk.
thanks man, that was helpful to use beginners
