Topic: Building custom sets with individual bricks... Read On...

On the Lego site you can buy individual bricks in the store for pretty cheap.. Are there any posts or websites anyone knows of with instructions of how to build small Lego sets with pieces available on the Lego store.. This could save some money and allow you to how custom sets...

Thanks mini/smile

**EDIT**
I'm not talking massive 500 piece sets.. More like accessories like shop fittings, benches, stalls etc.. Just small sets to add to a set.

Well Peeron has some instructions on already made sets... It also tells you what parts you need

Killed by the husband, drowned by the ocean, shot by his own son, he used the poison in his tea an kissed him goodbye, that's my kind of story, It's no fun 'til someone dies.

Peeron is definitely the best. mini/yes

I do not care about your opinion, unless it has to do with it needing more ponies.

There is a program you can download right from the Lego website. It lets you build anything you can think of, and then tells you how much it will cost to buy it from Lego.  It will come with instructions and it's own box. linky

I do believe that you are talking about Lego Digital Designer.

EDIT: Whilst the new name is DesignByMe, the software is still called Lego Digital Designer.

It used to be called that, but they changed the name recently to "Built by me", or something like that.

Well, That's odd.
At my screen it's still ''LEGO Digital Designer'', or ''LDD''.
It was downloaded in late 2008, but updated only weeks ago..

Bricklink.com has lots of instructions, and you can also buy some parts on there I think, including LOTS not availible from Lego.

No I don't mean the LEGO designer.. That sucks bad!
I mean just props for your set you can make with random bits of lego, would be gd to have a guide on loads of lil things u can make,.

Just like your grammar! mini/smile

Anyway, I'd have to agree with Daniel. Peeron seems to be the best answer to your problem.
