Is the BIM 2010 Avante Guard thing still going on?  I just signed up and I just pulled out a great idea but I see the thread has been closed.  I hope I am not the new dark angle of death.  Last week when I went to signup to Brickfilms I noticed that twenty minuets prior to me visiting they offically closed the web sight, I wish I would have taken a screen shot.  If the contest is still going on here is my pitch: reflections on the many ways automobiles are intertwined with the various lives of people.  Also I would be included other items which I freely associate with Time and Life.  I hope this is avante guard enough, I feel it is original and the subject/characters are not limited to little lego figures but also the cars they drive.
