Topic: Moving to Mac

I am maybe gonna move to mac now that I have maya 8.5 and a snow leopard finally, I need help with the free softwares, which one is the best to pick??? Also I found final cut studios but at 900 dollars no one buys it. any suggestions with programs???

i use mac and i suggest framebyframe for a first free program, it isnt great nit hen ur ready use istopmotion, a 50$ stop-motion program for macs, it is very good (i use it currently)... also use i movie OR final cut express 4. It is easy to use but cost alot so for now use imove...

The software I use for animating and editing on my Mac are:
iStopMotion (Frame Capture and Animating) (Cost $50 at the least, but there is a free trial)
iMovie '09 (Editing)
Audacity (Sound Editing)
