Topic: Horse Walk-Cycle.

I am filming a scene with a man and a horse.
I am wondering is there any walk cycle for a horse that avoids masking.
Thanks,

Re: Horse Walk-Cycle.

The lego horses legs don't move like the minifigs so you won't be able to do it usless you make a custom horse

Re: Horse Walk-Cycle.

Dude make your sig smaller, its massive.

Re: Horse Walk-Cycle.

Brickcellent, you could always frame the shot so you don't show the horse's legs, or block them with foliage. Other than that, you'll just have to stick with sliding them across the baseplate, with a little front-to-back wobble thrown it to make it look better.

Re: Horse Walk-Cycle.

You could always do it like a minifigure with short legs.
Shot 1: Lean the horse back
Shot 2: Level the horse and move it forward.
Shot 3: Have the horse leaning forward on the next stud.
Shot 4: Back to starting position.
And you can always add a few more sliding shots depending on how fast you want him to go mini/smile

Re: Horse Walk-Cycle.

If you want to see really good horse animation, I suggest this.

Re: Horse Walk-Cycle.

use 1x1 bricks of the same color of the horse

Brick by Brick is the man

Re: Horse Walk-Cycle.

^ That doesn't really explain much about HOW to actually ANIMATE a horse walking. You could be doing ANYTHING with those studs, try explaining the process of animating with the studs....

That's a little cartoony though. For something more realistic, I'd recommend something like this.
