Not sure which window to use, any opinions? (btw, it's going to be at a different angle that that in the film)

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

okay then.... I say number one looks good.

But it's better mini/eh

Don't be fooled, my avatar is a facade of conformity.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

It depends what look you're going for - the first is more country mansion whereas the second is more a modern house.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Yeah, I agree.

But go with number 2 mini/tongue

Well im sure this has helped him... mini/confused

And based on the fact that there is a computer in the image, i'd imagine he wants a modern look

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Ah, but the house itself looks older. Ergo, it's not modern.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I did desided to go with the #2 window (yes with loads of help from you guys, mini/tongue ), and I completely changed the color, because I started working on another set that needed that same color.

I think the fact that there is a computer would outdo the look of the house.

And you should upload a pic of the new house.

And someone else should put something up for critique

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Personally, I like number two.
I would change the backround of the window. The studs outside look a little queer. Maybe some sky?

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I don't think that was what he was looking for Just Kidden. I think he put the green baseplate there so that there would be some kind of background instead of seeing part of the interior of his house.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I wasn't really looking for someone to tell me off. I was just telling him that he should change the outside of the window.

Let's not flame up into war again: I wasn't trying to tell you off, I was saying that he probably is already going to change it. mini/wink

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

^ yeah, I put the plate behind it, so it wouldn't just be black, making it easier to see the windows (especially the second one). In the film it will be over looking a large factory type complex.
