Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

From what I heard about the way it was filmed, I figured that was the one. I'll post an image later.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

I don't think that's Coffee and Cigarettes, because that looked a lot different.

Wild guess:

Otto e mezzo (8 1/2)

Directed by Federico Fellini
Semi-autobiographical film
Fellini had made 8 1/2 films before it, hence the title.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

No (x2), and I desperately need to see that.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

Is it The Godfather Part III?

-Sequel to Part 1 and 2
-a guy has glasses shoved through his neck
-didn't live up to 1 and 2

If I'm wrong, please give moar hint.

They are.

Is it an older movie or a newer movie, Cinexcellence? It looks a bit newer to me.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

I was thinking that Darkman but the bridge of the glass is is much higher than the frame around the lenses, Capotes were more or less horizontal across the top. Of course it might just be the angle that the shot was taken from.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

It looks like it's from the 50s or 60s to me, since the blacks aren't as rich and it's in 1.85:1.

Hint: It was released in the early 90's and has an historical significance for the States.

And it's not Capote.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

JFK

An Oliver Stone film.
Kevin Costner is in it.
The music was parodied in the Simpsons episode Who Shot Mr. Burns, Part One.

Before anyone jumps to the wrong conclusions, NightOwl is referring to the Black Tonal/Contrast quality of the scene.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)
