Topic: Custom Robots!

Yep, thats right!  This is a thread for all those people that want robots designed for their latest films.  Robots can often be very hard to design for brickfilms (needing such a wide range of motion), so this thread is made for all those people who have trouble building robots.  We have designed many robots over the years, yet even we still have trouble building robots.  Here is where we will post images of robots when needed for a film, and other people can feel free to post their cool robot designs too!

Re: Custom Robots!

You mean NXT robots? Or animatable designs like in Robota? mini/confused

I do not care about your opinion, unless it has to do with it needing more ponies.

Persist.

Re: Custom Robots!

We mean animateable robots.  Personally, we think that building animatable robots is almost harder than building NXT robots.

-Jack,

Re: Custom Robots!

Hahaha!  Not really, that would really be a prop...  The robots that you post here are your normal sci-fi alien or robot monsters that thrill audiences.

I think this falls under the Set and Props Critique Thread.

In before the merge.

Re: Custom Robots!

We didn't mean it negatively NXTManiac (your NXT robots are awesome!).  We just meant that this thread is about animateable robots, not electronic robots.  That doesn't mean we have a grudge against programable robots (in fact we even make them ourselves sometimes), its just that this thread is not about those kinds of robots.
