Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

It's about a crazy driver, right? If that is the case, the second one is better, as it shows what he just did.

Because that really isn't like your shot and if what you said wasn't sarcasm, then you've made a fool of yourself.

I did mean it in a slightly sarcastic mannerhttp://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p84/UberSocks/13-3.gif, but how did I make a fool of myself? And it is a little like mine. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p84/UberSocks/9-4.gif

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

The theme is "pursuit". The bike guy is chasing the car.

*is making a epic shot*

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I like the second one much better. I can see the expressions on the man and the woman and I can see the motor cycle dude.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

@Gospelnut: yes, I never saw your entry, and I see what your talking about mini/confused

@filmyguy: really like the shot, you might want to make the camera angle a bit like filip's but otherwise, awesome.

@Filip: not very unique in much ways, but I like it, but since I'm so crazy about camera angles, it would look kinda cool if you rotated the camera angle a bit. but I like what you portrayed.

Nothing special.

Hehe, that one reminds me a bit of an entry I did a while ago:

Anyways, I will probably make a frame this round. It has been quite a while now...

Holy crap, that resemblance of my frame and yours is creeping me out. mini/eek

I really like your new frame btw, fillip. mini/bigsmile

Meh.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I can't really tell what's going on........

BTW: Hows my second entry?

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

The lighting in that is incredibly well positioned. Good work, I think it goes with the theme ok. mini/smile

Just an entry that I made last night.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Squash: Beautiful lighting. I don't really get it, but I can see that the guy is getting older/younger (depending on which way you look at it). The pursuit of youth?

Aaron: A bit plain, really. Nothing much in the way of good cinematography and the lighting is just boring.

Press F5... or reload the page...

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

The effect just looks like it was added on as an afterthought. The frame does not benefit from it.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Squash, I don't really like the lighting so much; it looks too harsh.

Entry #2! mini/bigsmile

Can I PLEASE get some feed back on this they are my first two entry's. We also seem to be getting a Brickfilms mentality were we only give feed back to the people who we already know and are really good and not the new guy who needs it. I'm not saying this is always the case I'm just saying I see a pattern.  Now FEEDBACK ?!

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I find this photo quite good. It is focused on the main charecter in the shot and you can still see eveything else quite well. Good job! mini/smile

D.J.M.

You can do anything, just have fun while doing it.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I hope you don't think that I am some sort of pro cinematographer. Out of my perhaps 3 entries before the one I just posted, I believe I have placed last 2 times, though I placed 7th once.

Anyways, I like that shot. The backdrop looks nice, too.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I don't think that it will cause any confusion, however, it is a really old entry, so I don't see the reason for commenting on that frame.

Anyways, I don't think that's a very epic shot. I think the set looks somewhat weird, and too CGIish. You may disagree, but that's my opinion. Also, I don't quite understand how a truck from World War II even can stand a chanse to a police car from the 21st century.
