Re: The Christmas and snow thread 2010!!
The snow is the deepest it has ever been in my area. Its around 25cm deep on average. Quite interesting, but College has been closed for 3 days in a row....and I really need to back....

My snowman
We went sledding and stuff in the golf course (which is in the first photo) today. Well, not really sledding - we used election posters and biscuit tin trays and stuff.
temperatures in the 30's and yet- no snow.....
The're icicles around the outside of our house, preeetty big ones too, lawl.
Also the snow stopped me from going to a gig a few days ago. Still, I shall enjoy this weather.

Put up my Christmas tree yesterday!
What does everyone want for Christmas then?
I want a 160GB PS3 with Black Ops from my Mum.
From my Dad I'm hoping to get a new TV for my room.
How about you?

Busy day. My family got our Christmas tree, had Hot Cocoa, Candy Canes, and Cheetos, and then we went to my grandparents's. Our cousins were there. We played Wii Fit while the grownups worked to get my Grandpa's Christmas Tree inside. It was like, 15 feet tall! That afternoon we decorated our tree! So much fun!
All you people have wimpy snow, i got about a foot or two in three days earlier in the year, mid November-ish, had weather down to about -45 C (-49 F) with wind chill on a few early mornings, high winds and drifts four or five feet high, and all before January, which is normally the coldest part of the year. Not to brag . I should have gotten a pic of the prairies and the mountains covered in snow on my plane ride from Cali today, It was beautiful. I got back to the nice cold temperatures and warmed up with an ice cap from Tim's, I'm weird. I need to take some pics of my yard with the hoarfrost on the trees and put them up.
If you want real snow, go to Utah for a week.
Going next month, so excited!!
Today we finally started getting in THE CHRISTMAS SEASON.
We were blasting Christmas songs in the house, put up the tree, decorated the house (poorly), and went to look at Christmas lights.
I think I might get sick of Christmas before it even gets here.

I was sick of Christmas before Thanksgiving started.
Seriously, Christmas sales before turkey day? Not impressed. One. Bit.
There's actually snow where I live before January this year, that doesn't happen often.
Yeah, I too am NOT in the Chrismassy mood. I dont know why - I'm just not. Maybe its because the years gone way too fast for me...
