I have a small collection of random sets ive been buying over the years. I always change my mind on what themes I want. 
I was digging through the shed and came across a small stockpile of my brothers old Lego. The bulk of it was a ready made classic castle army!
I didn't even know we had that many! There's enough swords, spears and crossbows in there to lay siege to a castle! Now that I think about it, I think I bought a Knights Kingdom castle a few years ago... I wonder where that went?
If I posted a picture of even half my collection, it would crash the server.
So I was desperately searching for a piece and dumped em all out on the floor.
Mobile... That's.... That's golden.
Holy cow, Nailer! That is so darn big! more than 6000!
No, I did not have 6000 sets. I had over 6000 pieces though. 
Now I have much more than I had when I was a n00b, though.
My lego set collection.
I have 20078 pieces (from sets, anyway ), and I have 291 minifigures from sets. I have more that I got on ebay, bricklink, etc.
The amount of money that I've spent on sets is $2242. O_o

There are some more LEGO in my room, in the back of the basement; and in the bins around the table with the
fire brigade, etc. on it.

The transparent box where i keep my lego is actually really big, it just doesn't look that way in the pic.
I've been collecting since I was 4 and I'm now 12. I figure I have at least 10,000 pieces. The round bin has all my minifigures and their weapons and yes, that is a partially destroyed MTT. I have a 48x48 gray baseplate, a 36x36 green baseplate, a 36x16 green baseplate, a 36x16 gray baseplate and a 16x16 gray baseplate. Not sure what sets I have, as most are in pieces and I must have around 100 minifigures.
