Re: Septemberfest 2010 Contest [CLOSED]
Going to finish sorting my lego now. GAH! It's taking forever. I actually found a lego head buried in there that I never knew I had.

Are you talkin' to me?
The Mod elements have to be within the film. Even in a black and white film they have to be present, however a color frame from the shot will have to be provided along with it.
Thanks.
Can some one post the mod element, I'm having trouble knowing what it is.
FINALLY.
Alright guys, I'm not entering after all (Don't ask), however I will be keeping a day to day update on what's the latest with Septemberfest. if you have any news at all on what you're doing, just PM me (or quote this) and I'd be happy to include you in the update, that includes if you want a shout-out, link, update on your stuff, anything.
LegOpinions,
Septemberfest Reporter (unofficial as yet)
Right so, got the go ahead from Sean. The report will go out at 6:00PM GMT today, remember to get your news quick! I'll be posting it on my LegOpinions channel.
LegoDudez, it's a red piece touching a yellow piece, or simply a Q somewhere on your set. Not too hard, really.
I assume we don't have to provide a frame with color if we use the letter 'Q' as a mod element?
I'll begin filming Sept. 5th, after 'Strigoi'. Yay
Thanks.

Guys, lay of the hating, you look stupid.
Still, I can't see how we can't negotiate this out.
Can you hate me via Twitter, or PM or YouTube, your spamming the thread up.

Has anyone actually started to animate yet? Just wondering.
Correct vik.
LegoDudez, everyone is bound by the same rules and the mod elements have been used in numerous past contests without issue.
I just don't like them much. Can I do them discretely, like on a truck?
We can't use words but we can use sound effects, rigth?

Yes you are allowed to use sound effects!
I want to see thefourmonkeys try to enter. Most of their films involve conversation and they're famous for their mouth animations. I'd like to see what they can conjure up.
LegoDudez - you can put them int he shot as discreetly as you like - finding creative ways to hide the mod elements in a scene (with it still being visible) is part of the challenge.
DTVision - Yes.
