Wait what aspect ratio are film posters? 2:3? 9:16? 3:4? I googled it and all it said was "Between 0.690 and 0.699," which isn't an aspect ratio.

That is an aspect ratio. It's just in decimal form. 3:4 for example would be 3/4 which is 0.75. It can also be formatted as 0.75:1. All of these are aspect rations but different ways to represent the same idea. Movie posters are typically 27 inches by 40 inches so in the format you like 27:40.
