Wow. They have changed it. It's now just like what Monetizing used to be. Or basically. Then how does one get features and branding options now like old partners did?
You have to be 'selected by Youtube'. This basically means that you have to have dumb luck or have tons of views (3-4 million average). The good thing is however that you are a 'partner' now!

Hmm, this is somehow disappointing. I'm not sure if this was a good move for YouTube or if it was a bad one. Time will tell I suppose. Sure I may technically be a Partner now, but in reality nothing has changed for me. So in my mind, nothing has happened.
@Keesret you are kinda wrong. Old partners lost many features which makes them look just like an average youtuber but they still have "watch page channel icon" which still separates partners from new-partners, I've also heard youtube will add more features to the cosmic panda layout (probably for partners not for everyone) so it will be just like it used to be... But you know we'll see, youtube can do all kinds of crazy things ![]()
P.S. Also can you upload your own custom thumbnail now for the video?

Howdy folks, watch my history film:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kaEZ8-rvOg (Though only if you want to)
So youtube just tricked thousands of people into thinking they are youtube partners (like the old ones) cause I've just read many angry comments saying "If I'm a partner where's my banner and thumbnails" and etc. It's a stupid move by youtube, they should've called the program somewhat different. It's ok that you guys get it but many people don't it's basically the same monetizing program that was used way before it was called "New Partner" program
BTW does it mean you can't apply for "normal/old" partner program anymore? Or is it possible? Cause if you can't it sucks ![]()

Nope, it doesn't appear to be possible. From what I gather YouTube now tailors the Partner Program to each person's needs. Some people will have access to different branding options, while others won't. This explains why some people still have the channel header. It seems like YouTube will come to you (if it at all) and it's not as possible to go to them. At least this is what I got out of that article. They provided bad details though when they announced this. It was a rather absurd move on their part I think.
Today I tried uploading a video to YouTube, but the audio got messed up somehow, so I tried re-uploading it, but it was flawed yet again!
Anyone know what the problem may be? The audio in the video itself is alright until it's on YouTube.

Hmmm, try re-uploading it in a different file format.
I've uploaded several other video with the exact same format and they worked.
Do you guys like my new background? http://www.youtube.com/user/busterandbusteret
@Ghostofmrsdaystudios
No, I do not, looks very amateur'ish.
I just revamped my channel myself: http://www.youtube.com/user/LivingLEGOStudios/
I'd appreciate any feedback given.
@ Ghostofmrsdaystudios:
I'd have to agree with LarryStudios. Repeated pictures make the channel owner look lazy and amateurish.
I had no idea there was a place on youtube with a bunch of brickfilms, from different users. I guess it's like a giant brickfilm database, which auto updates. http://www.youtube.com/topic/7iUozAr2fEo/brickfilm i found some of my films on there too. I guess they include videos which must have tags or stuff relating to brickfilms.
I also just noticed that when you browse channels, that it is no longer 'film & animation' but 'animation' and a separate 'film & entertainment'.
Have any of you noticed this before?
