Congratulations! Now you can go and do all those cool adult things... like joining the selective service... or voting for rich people to rule us... or even having to get a job and become independent!
But remember: no drinking!

Or renting cars. You also get to look forward to higher insurance rates for the next few years. Happy adulting!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MISSY!
Tomorrow, August 8th, is Missy's birthday, from the Holding Our Own brickfilm series.
Here's a picture of her and some friends at her Sweet 16 party (on the right).

Scenes from her birthday party are in the upcoming episode of Holding our Own, which is now in post-production
Let's all wish her a happy birthday!

Am I the only one who thinks the Lego Season 15 Wrestler resembles Nuclear Man from Superman IV?

I think you're right!
I will be going to bricksbythebay and would also love to meet up with some brickfilmers.
It's funny how I can be in contact with all of you and not be able to meet up. If I lived near I would definitely like to go, but I'm at few thousand miles away, so I don't think I can.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it BricksbytheBay, but for others who did get to go, how was it?
Bricks by the Bay was great. This was the first year my brother and I went to the full convention, and it was really fun hanging out with BuilderBrothers and going to speedbuilds. I'm really hoping I can go again next year. On Sunday (the public exhibition), we got to meet rafael9522 and Liam G also, which was super cool. Hopefully you can come next year, Gillcrafter!

Was Bimbo Adventures ever completed as a brickfilm? and was that Pritchard Studios' project?
About to start up my second week of college. I'm studying film production at Wright State University, and I'm pretty excited, though still super freaking nervous just cause this is like a big step in life and all that crap. I'm hoping I can keep working on personal films outside of classes and working and such. I have several ideas for animations bouncing in my head, and I live in a dorm with other people in film/theater so hopefully I can get inspiration and help from those goofy gaffsters. Though being in a dorm does mean that I'm away from my setup at home, I'm only like 45 minutes away so it wouldn't be too hard to come up on some weekends.
I'm just hype for the future of me and the world of film, anyone got additional thoughts/advice?
