It hasn't snowed here enough to sled since '08.

Last time it snowed where I live was Christmas 2010.
Only time it's snowed on Christmas for me.  Watching the Christmas Doctor Who while it's snowing on Christmas is just the best.

One day, I will move to a colder place.  I need to get away from this heat.

You'd like it up here in New York.

Hey, here in Ohio, we get all four seasons in one week. mini/smile
Well, we actually just got our first significant snow in a year last December. It felt kinda weird actually being able to sled again.
But hey, at least we are getting more 90 minute delays. mini/bigsmile Still no snow days.

I was in New York City eleven years and fifteen days ago.
I didn't like it very much.
Though, I can't really say anything about the rest of the state besides that city.

My plan is to move to England eventually once I can.  Since I feel I must move to a colder place with this being too hot, and England just sounds like the greatest place ever.

There is nothing I desire more.

That would be optimal.  Sunlight burns me, and I don't mind rain.
If there are no clouds in the sky, I bring an umbrella.  If it is overcast or raining, I leave it home.

Instant subject change:
I won best short animation at some film festival in Hollywood recently for How to Not Rob a Bank. mini/smile

You'd love it here in Oregon. Wanna visit?

Heh, you seem to like England a lot.

You'd like being the mountains up in the northern half on New York. (I live between there and the city.)
I went on a vacation up there once, and most of the time it was raining.

Re: Café Corner

Nice job, Squid! I'm thinking of submitting a new short I am working on to a local-ish film festival.

The great thing about that is you can actually go and watch the film with the people and there's all of this laughing which is just a load of fun.
Do it.  I love watching my films with an audience present.

Oregon is my 4th choice after England, Scotland, then Ireland.

Re: Café Corner

Not sure where else to post it, my Lego Conventions thread is dead.

Is anyone going to be attending Bricks Cascade tomorrow? I'll be there, if you want to maybe meet up shoot me a PM.

Could he possibly be migrating accounts, opposed to have his name changed, or is it an impostor. D:

Argh gabatay.
I'm going to have to move soon.
My animation is going to be put on hold for a while after I finish animating my current I am the Night scene.

He has the same IP as ZachFB Studios, so I'd assume he either forgot his password (unlikely since he posted from the old account this morning) or wanted a name change. Of course, we could have corrected either if he had asked. I've pm'd him about it.

To about two hours away from my current home.  I'll be going back to the house where I lived nine years ago.
Relatively, it's pretty close to my here, if you think of the size of America, but I won't get to do stuff with local friends anymore, like theater.
And I won't be coming back to any really old friends because friendship is rather new to me (I'm like Twilight Sparkle, he he).

But there are several advantages, at least.
We're planning to turn one room into a new Vortex for animation.  This one will be larger, and not have a low ceiling, it will also be connected to the AC (my current Vortex isn't, which makes animation in the Summer afternoon quite unbearable).
I'll actually be a decent length from a LEGO Store, so I can use pick-a-brick more.
All of my LEGO will be in the same room.
And the computer where I record will be in a more secluded part of the house.

I think those outweigh the disadvantages by far!

Animating will be more comfortable and set building more convenient for you (you'll also be able to make larger sets).
You'll be able to record more often, too.

Yeah! Who needs local friends when I have a better animation studio?

Well, I don't really think I'd build bigger sets.  If I did want a huge set, it could've just built it in sections and bring it over.

It's pretty nice that I won't be building anymore in my room, because if I were after moving, I would have to carry my bulky sets through a hall, through a gate, down a flight of stairs, through another gate, through the living room, through another hallway, through a doorway, through another living room, and then through a third hallway.
I don't want to do that.  mini/lol

Well, if you ever wanted to it would be easier to build and film on (bigger animation room=more space for larger sets).
