Speaking of higher education - I've been at University for a week now (studying Creative Writing and Film Studies). This is my first time away from home in 8 years but surprisingly I'm not particularly homesick. I miss the luxuries of my household, but where I'm living at the moment is comfortable and friendly enough - plus, the last time I went away was before the days of Skype and Smartphones.
But enough about me. MooCJ - your profile picture terrifies me to the point of insanity. At this moment I am running around my room thinking I'm a long-bottomed Platypus.

Now that is problematic. Thinking you're a short-bottomed Platypus is perfectly acceptable, but long-bottomed?? ...definitely a distressing event!

I found way to set manual white balance on my camera! Woohoo! My light flicker has all but disappeared! I feel equipped to take on anything.
Welp, it's my 14th birthday today, and I start of the day to waking up from a horrifying nightmare. Thanks brain, I love you too.
I'll hopefully use some of the money I get to get a wider variety of lego for set making and stuff.

oh my god, I just remembered about that picture. Last time I saw it was like, 3-4 years ago. It used to be all over The Refugee Camp and BiM. Got me some BiM nostalgia there.
It's normally other people who post it here, but I feel proud to wave the BiM tradition flag for the first time. (I decided to bookmark it last time I saw it.)
Wasn't it BertL who used to post that in birthday threads? Also been out of the loop, is BertL still here?
I think I do remember him posting that picture. He shows up every once in a while - but not often.
