Well guys, it seems that I may have actually gotten back into animating. Been doing the first scene of Meat Quest (again) and though I'm sort of struggling to get back into things after not doing it for so long, I'm happy that I've picked it up again.
Though I STILL hate animating dialogue, it's just....eugh.

Hello, this is my first post in 2 months! I've realised that my brickfilming hiatus is becoming increasingly worrying, but as of yet I can't do anything about it until I buy a new laptop capable of animating with. At least I have a few good ideas I can put to good use immediately. Does anyone have any recommendations for a laptop that works well, hasn't got the word 'professional' slapped on it to increase the price by £1000 (i.e, it's not too expensive), and isn't a Mac? I've had a look around but my knowledge of technology branches off into the gaming side of things.

I'm convinced that laptops aren't worth buying unless you absolutely have to have the mobility. The parts wear out faster b/c of heating issues and you get a lot less for your money in the first place.

Yup, my friends high end laptops are all getting louder, hotter and dying around me. I'm sat here with my self built desktop that has lasted me about 4 years, with new parts added only just late last year.

Build a PC, so much cheaper and for about £300 you could get an awesome pc.

So, for the home school prom in my area, my eldest younger brother (Wilson) decided to rent a formal kilt with matching attire for the event. Complete with a sgian-dubh, ghillie brogues, sporran, fly plaid, and a Prince Charlie Jacket with matching vest.  We saw some pretty great reactions. Just about everyone thought it was really cool (too bad all I had was a suite with purple Converse and a pocket watch), some people even asked to have their picture taken with him.

Then today, since we have to send it back soon and wanted to get the best of it, we went out shopping at the mall, some other stores, ate at a restaurant, went to an ice cream parlor, and visited Darth Vincent Price's house all the while he was wearing his kilt along with the rest of the outfit.
