That is extremely bulky looking. There is one I know of, by JamesFM, that is a lot shorter and thinner than that one, and most people I know who use QC4K's use it. Unfortunately, I can't find it, but I'm sure someone will be able to show you how to make it.

Yes It's very bulky looking but it's impossible for it to move and the weight keeps is still. It's not good for small spaces though.

I have been using the 3000 for a lot of my films. It has manual focus so it does work but I would buy the QC 4000 or the QC 9000. If you can't afford the QC 4000 then I would suggest you to save money. I have both the QC 3000 and QC 4000 in a drawer .

I have the 9000 now lent some money of a friend for it. The 3000 will we used as a prize in a animation contest i may do on youtube for animaters using a different camera
