Well, today is judging. Let's hope someone makes a last minute entry, probably not though.
The topic wasn't exactly easy though. An army of thousands would take lots of time to make, especially if each one had to be keyed in. I'm going to wait and hope the next theme is easier to accomplish in a reasonable amount of time.

I have so far 924 of my minifigures posed so only 76 more to go and I am done!
No, seriously I do have a shot I am working on now and it should be posted by this afternoon CST.
Why no other entries? I'm a bit suprised though maybe everybody is busy? This was a sort of tough theme for me at least as I feel war is the most bile aspect of human evolution, but I guess if it is just little lego guys battling then nobody gets hurt.
Sorry, I don't have time to finish, I regretfully withdrawl from this weeks challenge and await another time...

Sure thing, I just didn't expect anyone to enter. It's not like you were that late anyways. It will count. So Legoluke, you have not quite won yet.
Now we wait for Bluescreener to judge...
I have a tip BuilderBrothers: try to set the white balance in your camera as far back as it can go, this makes for a way better colored, less yellowish greenscreen, and I've found it was wasier to key that way. Plus it would match more with the CGI minifigs.
Thanks for the tip! Actually though, it was the lamp light that made the figure yellow, not the white balance. We had the white balance at the lowest setting.

This was a tough one. Very tough indeed. Both of your keys are almost flawless. BuilderBrothers, I am going to have to pick you. Legoluke, your key was good, but the whole picture looked sloppy, like you didn't put much effort into it. BuilderBrothers, your key is good, and I can tell you put a great deal of work into it. However, that does not let ye off the hook for a very sloppy color balance. You could at least have tried to color correct the king in post. On the other hand, your CGI is quite good, and wins you the trophy.

Since this theme is more broad, it should hopefully be more simple to make an entry for and enable more people to participate.

I don't see anything in the rules about the entry having to be made specifically for the new theme, but I don't think you would score any points by doing it.
Hm, should I change that? Or not?
