I didn't
Oh
Sure will. I thought the e mail was sent to everyone, I guess I was wrong.
I try it, but am I too old?
I signed-up to testing!
So can you - http://us.universe.lego.com/en-us/Beta/Default.aspx

Phantom(brickflix) and I have applied for beta as well. It took a while to find, because LEGO hid it so that they wouldn't get flooded with applications from every 4-year old that can spell "LEGO".
I like digging for things with out a search engine. Instead I look at Lego fan-blogs and such. But whatever works, right? Search engines are always a last resort for me. I just know that someone will say something about that viewpoint but it's fun to dig around.
Blockland > LEGO Universe > Roblox
LU is going to be not as good as Roblox. I mean, I don't think that kids under 10 will know how to script a game.
How did you get to alpha test.
Members of Kids Inner Circle and LEGO employees were the only people that got to alpha test, and luckily i was a KIC member I think the beta test is open to everyone, but I think KIC members are almost certainly gonna get to test
LU is going to be not as good as Roblox. I mean, I don't think that kids under 10 will know how to script a game.
Example LU Script:
funtion on touch (hit}
if user name 123 = true
kill kill kill stop kill when he leaves crying
end
end
end
end
print("Example ROBLOX Script (Corrected Version)")
function onTouch(hit)
h = hit.Parent:findFirstChild("Humanoid")
if h ~= nil then
while true do
if game.Players.username123 ~= nil then
game.Workspace.username123.Torso:remove()
wait(5)
else break
end
end
script.Parent.Touched:connect(onTouch)
--[[Although LU "Scripting" is probably easier, I'm pretty sure Python couldn't even read a script like that. The latter, albeit a useless script, works. But a Touch-Ban? When I touch the part, it bans username123. I can see no practical use for that. Maybe if you remove the loop (Making it a kill-once button) or remove the Touch functions (making it an auto-ban).]]--
Thank you for that, fib. You proved my point.
Yeah, Roblox, you can code your own games, LU has an actual storyline.
