I'm Homeschooled so yea....
I can say that my siblings like my Brickfilms though ![]()
I sort of quit brickfilming frequently a couple of years ago, but for some reason they think it's very funny to talk about it. It happens about once every two weeks that someone says something along the lines of "go home and play with your LEGO:s" etc. Sure, I could just "not care", but it's difficult to look the other way when some !@#$%^ spams your entire Facebook wall with a link to the LEGO homepage ![]()
I've made some attempts to get back into it over the last years. I haven't told them and I have no plans on doing so, even if I manage to get back into it completely.
EDIT: And I am pretty weird, as well. Yet they think it is too weird.

^this, though probably 90% of my friends know that i brickfilm
plus, I'm so bad
All my friends know that I make brickfilms, but don't think anything about it. It's my big brothers that think I'm a (as one says) a nerd or geek. My little bro makes some brickfilms, but he's more into 3D stuff (that takes to long for me work with) ![]()
One of them new but he was intrested in Bioshock to even care.
I'm homeschooled and my friends like my animations. I've never been teased about brickfilming so far.
Even if I was being teased I would not stop.
I once showed a lego loving three year old one of my animations, he's never stopped watching them since! ![]()

Most of my friends enjoy my animations and I don't get any teasing really that I can remember. Even if I were to, I wouldn't stop. I enjoy what I do, and if it's deemed "childish" by some, that is their decision. I'm pretty sure that a lot of the people that go around making fun of people are the ones that are doing things that are truly childish and immature. If you enjoy Brickfilming, do it. Don't let your friends pressure you into stopping. ![]()
Logically yes I mean basically since when is stop-motion considered to be childish anyways? Back in the day stop-motion videos were shown on Television and people liked it and there are many movies made in stop-motion that are done very well and are very entertaining. It doesn't matter what you animate clay/action figures/lego it's still stop-motion art and only dumb people would think that it's childish, it's art for God's sake, no art is childish.
Some of my friends asked me to show them how I made animations.
A couple of my friends got interested in brickfilming, and we're even planning collabrations.
but it's difficult to look the other way when some !@#$%^ spams your entire Facebook wall with a link to the LEGO homepage :/
.
That's what Paintball gun's are for.
I'm homeschooled as well, so I don't get to much teasing. But my friends all think it's pretty cool.
I have a neighbor who is a lot younger than me (he's probably 6 or 7), and he really loves brickfilms.
He comes over and watches me make them all the time.
.....He comes over and watches me make them all the time.
It would seem boring for me to watch someone move pieces of plastic at millimeter increments. ![]()
I'm homeschooled. I sometimes post them on facebook and get great responses though. ![]()
Most FB friends are amazed, especially when I explain to them how it works meaning fps and then how many pictures I've taken for one video.
I find it interesting that almost every girl I told really got into it. Their eyes got wider as I explained the process.
You must teach me your secret.
I second that.
I try to keep it from as many people as possible. I told a bunch of boys in my class who thought it was "boring" and "time-wasting".
When i was in grade 5 Lots of my friends like my animations in 2010 because i showed them while we had free time my grade five teachers think it was really good. Well i told my friends about my brick-films they said it was good. Why they thought it's good Mine are terrible and got lots of dislikes on one of them then i had to disable them ![]()
Actually, the situation ain't so bad for me. Some of my friends think these animations I do are cool! So, my situation is alright.
I think people like them. At least, all the school projects have been accepted. I vaguely remember walking away from the screen when I had just shown a film for history class. As I walked away, my friend said "I smell and A."
