Re: Lego Egypt Film

i dont know what that means.

Re: Lego Egypt Film

It means he's going to, like, tweet it, sort of.

Re: Lego Egypt Film

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to say "blog/tweet about it", then?

Re: Lego Egypt Film

Can I make posts on my website about this egypt film that is in the making. I wouldn't be able to tweet this, I can only tweet 140 characters.

Re: Lego Egypt Film

Re: Lego Egypt Film

Yup total credit. And mind if I have a link to your vimeo?

Re: Lego Egypt Film

eh i would, but my vimeo only has tests on it... so its not really all that exciting.

Re: Lego Egypt Film

I've been meaning to ask you for awhile, are you doing this for any particular reason or festival? Or is it just a film you wanted to make? I've it turns out well I definitely enter this in any sort of film festival.

And on the masking test you did awhile back, how is it masked using the alternating frames (I think that's how I wanted to word it?) I've seen a few other people do the same thing when they mask, how exactly do they mask each frame? Granted I'm pretty much a noob on the subject of masking, as I've only masked a single frame in GIMP.

Re: Lego Egypt Film

...I'm pretty sure it's for school...

Re: Lego Egypt Film

This looks great! No need to say you're on the way to a masterpiece in brickfilms.

Re: Lego Egypt Film

That 'hamming it up' video was amazing. I noticed that those bricks were quite reflective, how did you get around you not effecting them. Because you can really effect the lighting of the bricks causing light flicker. Do you wear black shirts, or stand quite far away?

Re: Lego Egypt Film

Well, now I'm not worried about what the animation quality will be in this film.

I think he's using a little keypad from afar.

And even just moving yourself enough to one side to not see the reflection is enough. Basically, just be careful of where your standing.

But I am pretty positive he control his DSLR from away from the set at his computer.

Re: Lego Egypt Film

Hey mobiledeli, we're thinking about trying 24 fps.  Do you have any tips, and may you teach us how to do a 10 frame walk cycle.
