All That Remains - Become The Catalyst
Mommmy! Quickly! Call the doctor! I think I've had a metal overdose!
100%- Sonic Youth
Mommy! Quick! My ears are bleeding!
I'm just gonna say what album, because I've been listening to it non-stop since it leaked.
Merriweather Post Pavilion - Animal Collective
I've been listening to a lot of Elton John and Coldplay.
Mona Lisa (When the World Comes Down) - All-American Rejects
Awesome track
Conor Oberst's solo album has gotten a lot of play at my house recently.
It's a great record by the way.
:offtopic: Yo-Blob, I love your avatar. Commander Keen is awesome
Shockwave - Funkadelic
Wow. The Electric Spanking of War Babies is the last Funkadelic album I hadn't heard (I was sort of saving it). Though it's not as classic or epic as either One Nation Under a Groove or Uncle Jam Wants You, it's still an awesome and danceable album.
Shockwave is particularly good, making me wish Funkadelic had done more reggae-influenced music.
I listened to the first half of Godspeed You! Black Emperor's album Lift Yr Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven (the album in my avatar). It's amazing, hence it being in my avatar.
I just realized that all the GY!BE albums I own where only partially listened to on first listen.
I listened to the alternate take of Lazy Bird in John Coltrane's Blue Train album a few hours ago. Gotta love that jazz!
I listened to Modern Woman by Billy Joel yesterday.
When We Were Young - The Killers
I'm just getting around to acknowledging The Killers' existence. I understand that they're, like, one of those bands popular with 'the kids'. I'm not sure I can pinpoint what I like about them, other than the fact that every one of their songs has a frantic energy of slightly epic proportions that make it seem as if it's the last song they'll ever play and thus they're giving it their all.
Or maybe not. I DUNNO.
You're The Dream Unicorn! - The Blood Brothers
Awesome.
Well right now I'm listening to Some Sense of Security by Saosin.
MB, yes.
