I thought the challenge was supposed to be about animating… not building… but whatever! And I hope you're joking about the deadline. I'll be dead in 2114.
Can the challenge not be figuring out how to animate a ridiculously oversized weapon? That sounds like the fun bit to me!
well, anything to do with it, say, he starts with a pistol and then it transforms into a very big gun.... just, play with the theme guys.

Extend the deadline a bit, I'm not with my LEGO till the end of Spring Break.
This contest is so odd, Well its odd for me cause I don't know how to animate this. 
I'll be dead in 2114.

I really think this is a good challenge to try, I'm usually against extending deadlines, but this idea is too good to give up on. In my opinion, you should extend the deadline for a week longer.

yeah, so, say, animate the guy with a standard hand gun transforming into a mega one then shooting.
Honestly, I doubt anyone will enter the challenge if they haven't already, but that's just my opinion. This 'huge weapon' idea is pretty fun, but it doesn't have much to do with animating as much as it has to do with building. I realize this may be a bit strange or hypocritical coming from me as I was the one who said any of those suggestions would suffice. What I really meant to say was any but the one titled 'Ridiculously Over-sized Weapon'.

Oh, no. It's animating a minfigure using a weapon that is too large for it.
