Re: The Animation Challenge

Yeah might as well judge so we can get a new theme sooner. mini/smile

Re: The Animation Challenge

Since it seems no one wants me to wait until tomorrow, I'll judge now.

1st Place: animationIsaac

2nd Place: filmyguy

3rd Place: megagill74

(That was a little hard to judge, having 14 entries.)

Take it away, Isaac!

Re: The Animation Challenge

Nice! Isaacs was by far one of the best. mini/yes

Re: The Animation Challenge

Good results, I enjoyed all three of those entries a lot. mini/smile I might enter the next animation challenge. This week is a school week, though, and I'm not sure I'll get the time.

You can also add smilies, though using more than a few smilies in a post is frowned upon.

Yeah, that was somewhat unnecessary...
Anyways, what's up with this week's animation challenge?

Edit: oooops sorry about that. I usually remember these things/read older posts, but I've been a little crazy lately (school), so not really up to my norm... mini/confused

It pays to look back in the thread people.

Derp, I didn't see that.
So that's why he didn't post.

Should we wait for him? Or let one of the other place winners go?

Re: The Animation Challenge

Let's not jump to decisions here, I, for one would love to hear the thoughts of what the new challenge should be from the other placed winners.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Just going to throw this out there: emoting without relying on dialog, sound or visual effects.  I'd like to see a challenge like this in our medium.  Minifigs don't have much articulation, but it would be interesting to see how you convey sadness, anger, happiness, etc. without depending on sound, music, facial animation, or what the characters say.

Consider it.

Re: The Animation Challenge

There's always the water challenge. That would be cool.

Re: The Animation Challenge

I like Lechnology's idea. And the water challenge.
