The theme is to get a hair cut, not to use the exact tools a hairdresser uses.

why do all of these entries use a knife or other dangerous tool to cut hair?
this challenge is get a hair cut, not have some guy attack another guy and chop of his hair in the process.
most of the entries I've seen so far tend to follow that theme. mini/confused

Re: The Animation Challenge

Ok, I'm going to film my entry today and release it tomorrow. Hopefully my idea of not using a knife works.

Re: The Animation Challenge

I really like yours Buikes! It reminds me of some of the older Brickfilms from a few years ago, back when the 4000 was still the top-tier animating webcam

Re: The Animation Challenge

Ok, well I got a little side tracked but I'll try and animate tonight.

I'm working on getting my studio back up and running, so stay posted...

Re: The Animation Challenge

I am a little bit dissapointed with the overall of this one, but if I think there was any one single entry that really standed out with effort, and originality it'd be 1011ev's. He demonstrated originiality, very creative, and did the best overall cuts imo.

Re: The Animation Challenge

LSP, I think Buikes did a pretty good job too: the animation there worked better than the one in animationIsaac's entry, which used the same technique. Though yes, 1011ev was probably the most creative, although in some parts the aniamtion was a bit too confusing (and by that I mean "a bit too much", since it is supposed to be cartoony, because cartoony animation tends to have that), and sometimes a bit choppy too. I normally wouldn't care, but this is an animation challenge. The shave was perfect though.

Re: The Animation Challenge

I can't upload,i can't sign in because the "Server's security certificate is not yet valid!" message pops up,and it doesn't let me proceed.
So yeah,i fail this one.

I know what you mean. I was also experimenting with camera movements and sometimes they can disrupt the animation. mini/sweat All I can say is that I had fun animating and I now know what it takes to make a decently sized animation.
