Re: The Animation Challenge

THANK YOU! BEST THEME EVER! I"VE ALWAYS WANTED TO TRY THAT
of course I'll probably not even end up entering, but it's still a really god theme.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Oh my gosh. Awesome theme, I'll crank something out for this for sure.

what could have been: jeffrey and the old man make some robots

Re: The Animation Challenge

Hmm... I probably won't be able to enter, but I've got an idea on how to make a flattened minifig;

1: Take a picture of the minfig straight-on.
2: Scale it in Photoshop or some other program so the minifig is actual size.
3: Print it out.
4: Carefully cut out the minifig.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

Re: The Animation Challenge

I'll whip something up.

The new theme is(I just couldn't resist):

Getting Run Over by a Steamroller

I really want to see this classic gag from cartoons in lego.
If you don't have a lego steamroller, you can use something different which
has cylindrical shape. For flattened minifigure, you can use lego flat pieces
or clay, but using legos gains some extra points.

The Deadline is 9th of December, Friday.

(If you don't like this theme, I can change it anytime, just let me know)

Good luck.

That is an awesome theme.
You need to make due date longer,it will take me some time to make a steam-roller.
I will make something.

Re: The Animation Challenge

irresistable theme

"I imagine Brickfilming as an endless sea, the ideas float. If they are forgotten, they sink to the deepest part of the sea"
- Troodon
"I'm so used to live action I hadn't thought about the idea of feeding directly to a computer haha"

Re: The Animation Challenge

Entering. For. Sure. Although I'll have trouble with building that steamroller.

EDIT: I might order the realy one, I really love this theme.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Best. theme. EVAR. Entering.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Nice theme, CrazyEd. Too bad I don't have a LEGO steamroller...or anything I could even pass off as a steamroller. Looks like I'll have to sit this one out. 'Sides, I've got a couple other things I want to work on. Good luck to everyone else!

I've decided that I'm going to become immune to several select, non-lethal poisons, then put them in my snacks to discourage sneaky snack snatchers. -Littlebrick

Re: The Animation Challenge

I was thinking maybe I could use a barrel...

Re: The Animation Challenge

I feel like doing some animating to night, but can it not be limited to just being squashed by a Steamroller. Just being squashed by anything?

Re: The Animation Challenge

It may also be handy to edit the title of the thread to Squashed by a Steamroller.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Oooo.  I like it!  I think that you have an assured entry that will be coming from me.

Can I use a car?

Re: The Animation Challenge

I see that it wasn't a quite good idea, because not everyone has a lego steamroller or something similar to that.
I'm changing the title of the challenge.
Now it's just: Getting Run Over by whatever you want.

I'm also extending the deadline to 11th of December.
