He never suggested you needed to do it like NXTManiac did. In fact, he specifically mentioned that there are other ways.

hmm.how about a technique a minfig uses in everyday life.like there version of how a human brushes there teeth or how a human checks their wrist to see what time it is.just saying
that should prove some interesting results.
Insrument?
A fairly easy instrument to build is a violin. You need a brown flat 1x4 or a slanted flat 1x4, and a solid lightsaber blade, or another 1x4. The brown 1x4 is the violin and the lightsaber blade/other 1x4 is the bow.
If you don't have that kind of LEGO, I'm surprised.
