Darn...right when the best theme ever is announced, I can't make an entry because I'm in holidays, and I'll be back home the 11th. Oh well, I'll look forward to the entries.

Yep.
Kissing, falling in love, hugging, et cetera. Anything that is about romance.
I myself am doing a really big but very rushed story which involves a 'love-hexagon' (as apposed to a love triangle).

Most of the romantic animation part of it will be a unique way that I show the characters fall in love with each other. It's going to look hilarious. xD

I dunno though, this seems like a better contest for the Cinematography challenge. This is sort of like the Pain challenge. Most of what it depends on is camera angles, lighting, etc. and the animation itself doesn't have to be very tricky.
If you really want to go along with this sort of theme I would suggest changing it from an emotion to some sort of action. Kissing would be really gross, but it would be more appropriate for this thread.

I agree, this could be better as a cinematography challenge, as it depends on lighting, mood and angles.
I also don't see how you can show Romance through animation. You could only achieve it by doing the practical side like hugging, kissing. To set the mood of Romance thats more of the Cinematography side.
I will try and give it a go, I want to give frame-blending a shot.

So, I tried to make an outline of one of Shakespeare's plays in LEGO. xD
It didn't turn out too well, so I think I'm going to give up on it.
Way too ambitious for one week.
However, I still plan on making something.
And for all those who don't think romance has much to do with animation, I'll show you!!! >:D
