Ummm... ostrich?
I might go there sometime. It looks interesting.
PS, are we the only perth-based Brickfilmers on this site?
Riley is also from Perth, I believe.
As for the sets, definitely picking up the emporium. And old skellywagglyarms is enough to make me buy that POP set, let alone all those other nice bits and bobs!
Oh I'm glad someone remembered me.
The emporium looks great, dunno if I'll ever be bothered getting it though, I've been kind of slipping away from brickfilming and lego.
In the summer, LEGO will be releasing this "Collectable minifigure series". It seems they'll be sold in trading card-like packs. I can't wait!
Yes, they´re some pretty cool minifigs in it. I want the zombie and the dummy one.
They look awesome. I want the ninja, no wait, I want all of them
Cool! I all of those look great for brickfilming! How much for 1?
How much for 1?
$2
Wow, I would've thought they'd be ridiculously overpriced in the $5-10 range. Though they probably will be 5 dollars in Australia, despite the fact that they should only be little over 2
Release date?
"In June 2010, Lego will launch a new collectors series with only minifigs. The figures will be of various types, but not being those from current themes. They could be anything from cowboys to ninjas or adventurers, etc. The first wave will appear in stores in June, containing 16 different characters. These will then be replaced by 16 other figures in August."

Very excited about this. I desperately need the robot invader minifig. These will make for great films.
There are a few things that lego is doing that are starting to annoy me lately. One, for example, is the head that they're using in this fire station set. Their big white eyes are reminding me of the Exo-Force sets, with heads that always annoyed me. I wish that lego would aim sets toward young kids (Ben 10, Creator, ect.) but also directed them toward teens, and adults. They were smart to create lego Architect, but lego, MAKE MORE SETS LIKE THAT. I hope I'm not sounding too lame and noobish.
But I am very excited about these minifigs.

I believe those are glasses, if you zoom in closely.

Oops, silly me.
It still reminds me of the Exo-Force eyes though . Still way too kid-aimed for my liking.
Oh, so the packets won't show who is inside? If they all look the same then that means that it is entirely possible to buy three packets and get the same minifig three times.
Good marketing technique, but I find that annoying. Guess that means we wouldn't be able to pick and choose which ones we want from Shop@Home. Might need to wait until they are available on Bricklink...
