The amount of seconds of animation I have can be counted on two hands. The number of shots I have can be counted on just one.

Re: Brawl 2009 Has Ended! (Results in First Post)

I've got about 41 seconds of film so far, but I'm planning on having my film be around 3:10 seconds or so, so I'm almost a little behind. Well, here comes another day of long, hard work!

Re: Brawl 2009 Has Ended! (Results in First Post)

Yeah you guys are way behind we're pretty much done you should pick up the pace and do a sloppy job to get it in the deadline. Right?

Can a red paddle touching a 2x4 brick count?

Also, I am making a lake for the film. If I build blue bricks on the baseplate, but it looks as if it was the baseplate, would that not work?

If the paddle is connected to the brick, then yes. As for the lake, if you show me a picture of the set (when you send the film) that shows that the bricks are on a baseplate, then that will count.

There is a head that i have that is mostly Red with a silver face. It has a transparent blue cone on top of the head. Does that count?

I Desperately need a voice actor who's voice has changed. http://www.bricksinmotion.com/forums/post/77141/#p77141

Re: Brawl 2009 Has Ended! (Results in First Post)

I have a question about the mod element. I have a red cup standing on a blue drawer. They are not 'clicked' onto each other, the cup is just standing on the shelf. But you can clearly see that they are connected. Is that ok?

Re: Brawl 2009 Has Ended! (Results in First Post)

I also have a question about the mod element;
If I have the camera going down a stairwell (that goes around and around the inside of a room) without stopping, would that count as one shot, and thus, only need the mod element seen once?

I never plan on buying anything when I go to the Lego Store.
Strangely enough, I always wind up finding something that makes me ditch those plans.

Re: Brawl 2009 Has Ended! (Results in First Post)

yeah...talking about the mod elements...I planned to make a shot with two characters, but when I filmed, I forgot to change the pants to one of them to make "blue pants" and "red T-shirt", but in the background there's somewthing that might look like an "M"....do I have to refilm the scene?

Camera movements (such as pans
and zooms) count as part of a shot, as long as the camera angle
of the shot does not change. So if you decide to have a
camera movement in your film, the mod element must be clearly
visible during at least part of the movement. During a shot,
if something temporarily blocks the mod element, you will
not be disqualified, as long as the mod element is seen
in it's entirety at least once in the shot.

mini/wink Yes.
