Meh. I think they should just put it in a random field somewhere in England. It'd be a great landmark! mini/wink

Erm, good bump. And, also, we had a thread for that already, and, you could have posted it in the Cafe Corner instead of bumping a 4 month old topic.... mini/confused

Persist.

Well, it fits better in here than in Cafe Corner.

That said, the demolition has still been mentioned.

Apparently Legoland Windsor had the Lego and intend to use it for similar large scale public assisted build projects in the future

Re: James May of Top Gear is building a full size Lego house & needs YOU !

Surely they could have somehow transported the house to Legoland Winsor. It would be like a goldmine. "As seen on 'James Mays Toy Stories'" I know that you cant just load the house into your car boot, but surely there must be some way of transporting it in sections.

Ah well, too late. I suppose its cheaper to purchase the bricks themselves rather than the actual house - but I would rather see the original house than a rip-off of it, and I'm sure the public share my opinion.

I think it's actually quite appropriate that is was broken apart because that's what you do with LEGO - you build something, play with it, then break it down and make something else.

It wouldn't be half as special if it still existed.
