Thanks for asking for clarification, Raptor! The original post has now been amended.
Your film must contain either the Color Mod, Letter Mod, or both in every shot. AND, you must also include the Sound Mod at least one time.
Feel free to use the sound mod more than once, if you wish! ...But refrain from spamming it, thank you.
Okay. Thanks for the clarification.
Oh yeah, definitely entering! Just hope I don't have to go out of town like on THAC
Good luck, 8-BIT SODA! This seems like a fun contest to enter and the time-frame is exactly for me I always run out of time in THAC and I can't seem to keep my focus in longer timed contests.
So how do you actually enter?

Thanks for asking for clarification, Brickman! This has been added to the original post.
Please upload your film as an unlisted YouTube video, password-protected Vimeo video, or other non-public link.
Send an email to: [email protected] before 12pm (midday) EST, Monday March 5th, 2018 with a working link to your film (& password, if necessary), with this subject: SHAQ, [Your BiM username]’s “[Title of film]”
For Example: SHAQ, Dyland’s “De Mortem Part Deux”
Jokes on us, the sound mod is actually the ripped audio from a 20 minute long tv episode

The rules are pretty simple:
Your entry must consist of at least 30 seconds of Lego or similar building-block toy animation.
Theoretically, the sound mod could be as long as 30 seconds! But I'd never do that. The intention is to have it be something short (similar to the color & letter mods), only lapsing the time an average shot would. But, it's gotta be more distinct than a footstep, though, as to make it easier to check if it is indeed in each and every entry.
What format will the sound mod be in? WAV? MP3? WMA? AIFF?

WAV & MP3, Brickman. And any other formats, should anyone not be able to deal with WAV or MP3.
Is this for real cause I need to know if I should try to gather my gear
and after the deadline can we make it public
Mod edit: Please use the edit button instead of double posting. Thanks!

Yes, this contest is legitimate, Stopmotion Philms.
And yes, while videos should be kept unlisted before the deadline, feel free to make them public afterwards. Share your creations with the world!
If I was to composite multiple layers of animation into a scene, would each layer need to have the colour or letter mod shown? I guess if that wasn't the case, animation could be done beforehand, defying the whole point.
If the layers are composited on top of eachother (like animating an explosion of animated bricks on green screen, and chroma keying it on top of another shot) you'd only need to have the letter or color mod on the background plate (i.e. the original shot/set).
If there's a really complex shot you're trying to pull off (or something like an extreme close-up), it would be best to shoot me an email with some behind the scenes pictures before submission, just to be safe. That way I could determine if said shot is acceptable on a case by case basis.
Personally, I'd rather be safe than sorry, and would potentially include the color or letter mod within all layers - again, depending on the shot & complexity.
This will be cool. The sound mod is new though. It will be like the THAC contest only with a sound mod. I am going to try to enter, I hope I will have time though.
Just remember to pace yourself, Zach Studios. When I made a 4 minute brickfilm for THAC, I had to reuse animation and recut existing footage like crazy just to get it done in time. It's better to make a well thought out 30 second entry than a 10 minute bore fest.
Just give it your all and try to be creative; I'm sure you'll go far.
Not going to be much sleeping this weekend.
