Re: Brickfilm Christmas Special Production Thread
The set looks great, Thistof! I just uploaded my finished video and an .rtf file with the credits.

Got it, thanks Kristóf! Funny all over again!
Here's a look at the cast of the framing story so far...
From left to right, Arginnon, Thistof, Pritchard, Chris@GBP, Undershadow, DragonBrick, WillowTree, and Shawarma. I think I got the order on those correct, feel free to notify otherwise.
Arginnon, Thistof, and Pritchard have already uploaded and are good to go. The rest of you, I'm looking forward to your video files, brief narrations, and Credit List text files by the time I wake up Tuesday Morning.
THIS IS NOT A FINAL PICTURE! There are a few of you from whom I've not received figure designs from, and if you're still working on your scenes, you have 3 full days, since I've extended the deadline to END OF DAY MONDAY. Think of it as THACx3 or BRAWL/2. Whichever motivates you the most
The script will be completed and published sometime Tuesday morning, please be ready to record your lines as quickly as possible so I can cut together an animatic and start animating.

Sending my entry in a minute - gotta finish this class first
Thanks Chris, it's looking great!
My brother just poked his head into my room and saw the set. "What's that!? Is that an airport terminal? AND WHO ARE THESE GUYS!? They look like a TEAM! A team of ADVENTURERS!" He was all excited, like when Dash sees the uniforms in "The Incredibles" it was hilarious. "Is it like Mission Impossible or Ocean's Eleven!?"

Sent! Per usual, I am not super satisfied with my final product. Time restraints forced me to settle for a bit less, unfortunately. Still, the Christmas I portrayed was definitely the most memorable for my family, and I hope that if nothing else it was funny . Oh, when are we allowed to post our stories/commercials publicly on YouTube?

I was wondering about that - or, perhaps, I could release a sneak-peak of my part with a behind-the-scenes of some sort? Maybe I can wrap it up into a promotional.
I'm working on the script for the framing device. I have the order of the stories figured out, and I'm about a page and a half into the actual script.

This is why I wanted all the entries submitted before I attempted a script. If Chris@GBP's entry helped me find the overarching theme that was present in -all- most of the entries, yours (in all it's quirkiness) is taking the framing script to a place that I never dreamed it would go.

There's no time limit for when you can publish your individual stories and commercials. I like to think of them as Christmas gifts in and of themselves, so I enjoy keeping people waiting for mine, other than the teaser posted at the top of this thread. I would prefer that there be more original content than not when this thing "airs" on the 17th, so I like Chris@GBP's idea of a
sneak-peak/behind-the-scenes/promotional
but you're free to post whenever you like.

Sounds awesome! I'll go ahead and get to work on my promo clip then. Do we have a title or logo or graphic or anything like that for this project that I can use?
Are we all just going to be making our own individual promo trailers, because i made a commercial and wouldn't have much to put it the trailer, but still want to make sure people know about it.

I've added the official logo to this dropbox folder https://www.dropbox.com/sh/fmxkpyegn26j AsGza?dl=0 for anyone to use in promotion of the show.

Good question, it would be nice to have an official teaser trailer with short clips from the different stories and commercials. I must be realistic and say that I simply don't have time to create one, but if anyone is interested in doing an official trailer I can provide you with all the clips, and give you credit for trailer in the show's final credits as well.

I would love to do that!
I have a lot of time and a pretty good video editing software (Wondershare Filmora).
I will upload my short commercial 'A Christmas Dog' to my YouTube channel, and when I do, I will put the logo at the end of the video with the release date of the film, as well as putting a link in description once the full film is released. I will also share on my social media to help spread the word. I would recommend anyone else who wishes to upload their shorts separately on their channels to do the same. It might be good to even perhaps create a hashtag especially for the film, something around the lines of #ABrickfilmChristmas
Made this update video for my channel to show a preview of the project and let people know what's going on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2roOxdK-js
Hey guys!
I just finished a trailer for the Christmas Special. It is only 1:30 long, and has short clips from all the commercials and stories.
Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjbwzKNiZS4
Also, everyone who contributed to the project has their channel linked in the description.
Enjoy!
The trailer turned out to be very good, Joebert! I went ahead and shared it on my Facebook page. (Does anyone know where I can find the A Brickfilm Christmas logo? Thank you! )
Thistof shared a downloadable logo with us the other day!

Thanks so much Arginnon! I am glad you enjoyed! Can't wait to see the finished film.
