I will share with you my experience from brickfilms: Every kid will say they would buy a shirt, but almost none of them do. Don't bother with children's sizes and don't get too many smalls. L and XL is where the action is. At least that's how it went down back in the day.
Thanks, I suspected that might be the case, though I was leaning toward getting mostly mediums and larges. Based on current sales (which, needless to say, don't approach the numbers from the polls) I'll probably order 50 or so, including preorders.
Any size is still available during preorders, of course! Remember, preorders last until Thursday. (They'll be open Wednesday, I'm going to make the order Thursday.)

If every step of shipping / processing takes the minimum amounts of time they can take it could theoretically arrive by then. It's rather improbable, though.

I will buy a blue one when my dad stops stalling. He said I can get one but he refuses to sit down with me and order it.

You can still order shirts after the preorder date, just not kids' sizes and only in blue and brown.
That said, I'm not going to close preorders until I have a chance to order the shirts Thursday. So if you get your order in early on Thursday, before I close preorders, you could still make the time window.
I might go to the darkside and buy a brown one.
