Re: Reviving your favourite theme
They broke their tradition of having a new space theme every two years. Maybe they're moving on from that?

There was a space theme in 2011 too. It was called Alien Conquest.
I really like the idea that they're just waiting for the anniversary to release something. I'm also of the personal opinion that pretty much all the themes post-2010 are total trash. I can't think of a single theme from the years after 2009 that was actually interesting for me. Other than creator and the Classic brick buckets. What Lego should do is make the Classic line a real theme, with minifigures with smiley heads and good old-fashioned sets that focus on play-ability, not realisticness.
If I could only bring one theme back it would probably have to be the 2008ish Fantasy Castle theme.
Unlike most people, I really liked the Nexo Knights line. I love the villains and the use of translucent orange, but the good guys are pretty bland, and I don't think the Sci-fi theme really mixed with the Knights theme well. I see why it's ending. It's had it's time and I hope to see more classic Medieval themes coming back a couple of years down the line.
Ultra Agents was good, and if they put a little more effort into it, Galaxy Squad would have been great. It's just that it had too many vehicles and only one building (which was quite small).

Lego Friends.
Pharoah's Quest
Monster Fighters was cool, too.
I would like to bring back the lord of the rings.
Yeah. They shouldn't have retired it so soon.
One brick to unite them all.
Slight Self-correction: any Non-Licensed theme.

I personally like Ninjago. It's 2010 forward. Its one of those really cool themes that was a long time coming and they know better than canceling.

The short lived Pharaoh's Quest and Monster Fighters themes from 2011 are awesome! I wish I would have bought some of those sets at the time, as they are really pricey these days!
I owned all the pharoah's quest the year it came out, but picked up a second cobra snake set, used but complete and with instructions, for $10 last year on eBay.
How bout Seatron? They really should bring that back, as it would solve about 5 problems at once. We'd get a monorail, adorable alien minifigs, a revived semi-classic space theme, and we'd get Space, Underwater, and an excuse to end that awful Nexo-Knights.
No Idea what Seatron was?
Just google "Lego Seatron"
