Thank you both VN and Osom!:)

Re: Showcase a Frame! (new rules)

Here's my favorite shot from "A Horse's Tale".

This is one of the only times I've intentionally added foreground elements to a shot to create more depth, and I definitely want to do it more in the future. There's a picture of the setup right here.

Re: Showcase a Frame! (new rules)

I have some cool frames from some of my upcoming animations, but I don't know whether or not they will be a part of the final film, or if I will contine making the animation/will change parts of the storyline of the animation.

Can I still share some of my frames?

Sure, go ahead! If you need critique on the frames, there's also a topic for that:

Or if you just want to post them without it being all official (like on this topic mini/tongue), you can go to Cafe Corner:

There's a casting call here, if anyone's interested.

Re: Showcase a Frame! (new rules)

its nice, also refreshing after so many ''dark'' scenes being showcased.

Whoa, slow down there partner!
If you've got several thoughts in a row, try typing them all in one post, or even use the edit button to add something later. Three posts in a minute tends to clutter things up a lot.

Backyard, that's a pretty nice frame! Of all the details, I'm most fascinated by the blue and white tiles serving as the back wall. They look great.

Sorry i was trying to post a picture and accidentally posted a mistake 3 times. i'll try not to do this mistake next time mini/smile

Re: Showcase a Frame! (new rules)

It's been a really long time since I've released a frame from Welcome to Darkmoor.  So here's one just so you know that I'm still trying to complete it.

Animation over the last year has been particularly slow.  I feel I can't quite make brickfilms remotely near the rate I used to, but that doesn't mean I want to stop.

I just got back to animating after a stagnant few weeks due to some pain in my hand preventing me from animating, but now that it's all healed up, I've been having a very productive week (in comparison to my more recent, very pathetic standards).

Re: Showcase a Frame! (new rules)

I like it.  The framing is really nice.

Two minor issues, though: the positioning of the guy on the left looks a bit odd, as his feet are much closer to the edge of the frame than his head.  I'd recommend zooming out to even it out a bit.  Also, the lighting feels oddly flat and dim to me.  But, as I said, these are pretty minor issues and on the whole it looks pretty great.
